History and heritage

For over 2000 years, Alsace has been divided between Latin and Germanic civilisations.

So, on your first visit in this country, you will appreciate Alsace's rich heritage. A great many events, both happy and tragic, have shaped this region with its distinctive local identity.

The history of Molsheim also merges with that one of Alsace. Still visible vestiges nowadays are the witnesses of the history often eventful of our area and its religious and military past.
