Did you say "Tango"?
The two musicians of Duo Ambre, Anne Lombard on violin and Fanny Fuchs on harp, take their audience to the gates of Argentina, honoring the music of the famous tango composer Astor Piazzolla.
The History of Tango will take the audience through the 20th century, highlighting the evolution of this music whose nuances and characters are constantly changing. The violin and the harp will highlight all the sensuality of the tango in the Milonga del Angel.
For Las cuatro estaciones, the two musicians were inspired by different existing versions, including one written for string orchestra by Desyatnikov.
By combining classical and contemporary techniques, Anne and Fanny deploy the range of sonorities of their instruments, highlighted in both twirling passages and moments of intimate and sensitive emotion.
