His universe, which a Buster Keaton would not have denied, is as infectious as a fit of laughter, taking the audience out of time, dusting off the everyday, dosing the comic and the poetic. While the feet are knitting on the stage, the head is deep in the clouds, able to make the absurd finally believable, so that one runs the risk of never wanting to come back down to earth again.
