Many stork nests once adorned the roofs of Molsheim. But throughout the years, they have become scarce and the only remaining nest was often left empty.
During the sixties, two dozens of baby storks were given to the city of Molsheim. Town council thus decided to build a stork breeding site along the canal, opposite the former Coulaux factory.
The storks there are no longer migratory birds, but have become the favorite attraction of thousands of tourists. The site is one of the city's prettiest sights.
Open all year round. Free access.
