The Chocolate museum by Schaal

Learn all the secrets about how chocolate is made by taking a gourmet journey through the world of Schaal. Leave for Ecuador, the first stop on your journey, where our cocoa plantations are located, and then head for southwest France, where our hazelnuts are grown. Next, it's back to Geispolsheim in Alsace, to explore behind the scenes of chocolate making, where you’ll learn lots about moulded chocolates, dragées (sugar-coated sweets), pralines and ganache! A high point of the tour is the the Chocolate Factory, where you can watch the chocolate makers work and ask them all your questions. Want to make chocolate? Lots of workshops are offered, year-round. At the end of your tour, stop by the outlet store and pick up some chocolate souvenirs to take home!
