Founded in 880 by Saint Richarde, Andlau Abbey is one of the most prestigious in the region and was home to the daughters of the aristocracy. It has undergone numerous transformations over the course of its thousand-year history. The former abbey church is its most emblematic monument. This tour will help you understand the abbey's location, its role, its architecture and its history, as well as the Romanesque sculptures, jewels of this artistic period in Alsace.
