Cycling circuit B01: On the heights of Urmatt

All day 57 Km 710 m Intermediate

Description

This route leads to the chapel of St. Florent in Oberhaslach. On the Sunday following November 6, a pilgrimage is held every year to invoke the healing and protection of farm animals. The first chapel, erected in the 7th century, was located at the place where the hermit St-Florent lived. The present chapel dates back to 1750 and has been beautifully restored with a beautiful collection of 19th century votive offerings.
