Near the banks of the Bruche canal, Domaine Siebert is set in a landscape shaped by geological history and wine culture, in the heart of the Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim.
Owned by the Siebert family for several generations, the estate has been run since 2021 by Estelle, an oenologist trained in Reims. After experience in Champagne, New Zealand and with major houses, she chose to put down roots in Wolxheim to work the 8 hectares divided into 26 parcels that make up the vineyard.
Her approach is based on a careful reading of the soils and a parcel-by-parcel approach that began with the 2021 vintage. Winemaking choices are guided by observation, analysis and work with vineyard and oenology specialists to best reveal each terroir.
Certified as Haute Valeur Environnementale since 2019, the estate is developing a viticulture attentive to biodiversity. Hedges, fruit trees and grass cover in the vineyards contribute to the balance of the Wolxheim landscape.
At Domaine Siebert, you'll find Crémants d'Alsace, white wines and red wines. On the bubbly side, several cuvées of Pinots are produced. The range also includes Rieslings, including a Grand Cru from the Altenberg de Wolxheim, as well as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Auxerrois, Gewurztraminer, Muscat and Sylvaner.
