The Maison de la Nature Bruche Piémont, together with its local partners, is organizing its first Canal en Fête as part of the national Fête de la Nature. Numerous activities will be on offer at sites such as the fish pass, fishing ponds, Maison Carré gardens and Bruche quays. The public will be able to discover the biodiversity and life around the site grouping the Bruche and its Canal, the Mossig. They will be offered : From 2pm to 6pm: In the Maison Carré gardens: Exhibition of works and texts on the fauna of the Canal and the Bruche, created by schoolchildren. Readings and mini-conferences by Wolxheim schoolchildren On the Bruche quay : Exhibition on the surrounding natural heritage Exhibition on fish migration Activity and observation stands to discover and understand biodiversity in relation to water (river and canal). Nature challenges to immerse you in the natural environment. Recup'Art animation (AAA Association) Etangs APPA : Fly-tying workshop, awareness-raising and discovery of aquatic fauna (fish and small water creatures) by the Association Agréée (AAPPMA) Ergersheim-Dachstein-Wolxheim and the Fédération de pêche du Bas-Rhin. Events : Screenings at Maison Carré : ¿ at 3:30pm: The film Les perles de la Vologne (52 minutes) ¿ at 5pm: Film Corps à cor (10 minutes) and film Jour de colère (9 minutes). Meetings with director Hyppolite BURKART-UHLEN between films and after the screening. Nature outing : ¿ 2.30pm, Ornithological Discover the birds that frequent the Bruche canal, the Mossig river and their immediate surroundings. Duration: approx. 2 hours Departure: LPO stand ¿ 3 pm, Biodiversity The wonders of nature between the Bruche and its canal. Guided tour of the site with a nature guide. Duration: approx. 1h Departure: Maison de la Nature Bruche Piémont stand. ¿at 4pm Guided tour. The Bruche and its canal: treasures of History and Nature Discover the Bruche Canal and its interaction with the river. Learn about the functioning and management of aquatic environments, biodiversity, fishways and the species that inhabit our waterways. Duration: approx. 1h30 / Distance 1.4 km Departure point: Syndicat de Bassin Bruche Mossig and Collectivité européenne d'Alsace stand.
