For a tour of Alsace, the Murmurations choir from Annecy will present a program of sacred a cappella music spanning the centuries.
This program weaves an invisible thread between souls and epochs, where ancient breath dialogues with contemporary resonance. In the intimacy of polyphony, voices mingle like swarms of stars, murmuring.
Founded in 2023 by choirmaster Blanche Latour, the ensemble was born of a commission from the Festival de Brou, and brings together demanding amateur singers. It became Murmurations in 2026, and today brings together 24 voices whose harmony evokes the clouds of starlings undulating at twilight.
Conductor Blanche Latour, an experienced musician trained in organ, musicology and pedagogy, guides the choir in its quest for precision and beauty of sound.
