For this year's European Museum Night, the Musée de la Chartreuse - Fondation Bugatti in Molsheim opens its doors. In addition to the permanent exhibition of monks' cells, the cloisters and the medicinal garden. This Carthusian monastery is a Museum of Archaeology, Art and History. A wing of the Priory house houses the Bugatti Foundation, which perpetuates the memory of Ettore Bugatti and his family through the presentation of 3 cars, a chassis, unusual objects, furniture and documents. On this special night, you'll be able to preview the new exhibition dedicated to 100,000 years of history in the Bruche valley and Vosges foothills. Two guided tours are organized under the guidance of Grégory Oswald, museum curator and exhibition commissioner. The exhibition presents the highly successful results of 40 years of excavation and research in the Molsheim region, which boasts almost 500 archaeological sites dating from prehistoric times to the Roman period.
