Singing Gregorian chant means discovering the exhilarating expressiveness of this inexhaustible repertoire: the earliest musical notations suggest a wealth of ornamentation, as well as highly dynamic phrasing. Cécile Walch, a specialist in Gregorian chant and member of the ensemble "Contre le temps," invites us to practice singing and to examine the earliest handwritten musical sources in the Western world dating from the Middle Ages.
