Follow the marked trail 
. When you reach the intersection, keep to the right and follow the signs 
to descend to Nideck Castle. (To reach the ruins of the second castle, you’ll need to climb a short hill.) Walk around the ruins and head down to the right toward the Nideck Waterfall. To view the lower waterfall, take the wooden stairs. To return to the forest ranger station, walk back up the stairs until you reach the intersection, and follow the .
Alternative Route to Hirschfels: At the intersection near the waterfall, continue the hike on the trail branching off to the right, marked with all the way to the Hirschfels lookout point. To return to the left along the marked trail
