More than 160 years after the publication of Charles Darwin's Origin of Species, modern science has revealed the details of the mechanisms of evolution. Yet this theory, recognized by the entire scientific community, remains in conflict with the most obscurantist religious figures. The natural slopes of our minds led us to believe that the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around us. It is just as difficult to integrate that the mutations at the origin of evolution appear by chance, without the intervention of a superior intelligence. Through play and comedy, this play aims to break down the barriers between science and its usual framework, unlocking traditional access codes. It offers an exciting, funny and offbeat introduction to the subject, and illustrates the conflicts between science and age-old dogmas. It's a highly topical opposition, especially in the United States, where only a quarter of Americans are convinced by Darwin's theory. Original text: Marie-Charlotte Morin Theatrical adaptation: Marie-Charlotte Morin and Alexandre Taesch Avec : Marie-Charlotte Morin and Alexandre Taesch Director: Alexandre Taesch Lighting and stage management: Stéphane Hau Production: artenréel#1 Compagnie du Hibou Blond EVERYONE ... EN PARLE ! "Ideal for learning while having fun, or the other way around" Science & Vie Junior, December 2017 "Religious people, evangelists will convince people with very simple words [...]. They've found a worthy adversary in Marie-Charlotte Morin and her play that's as didactic as it is engaging." Le Point, November 2017 "A performance that's funny and playful, dense and instructive, lively and playful, driven by a drumbeat and packed with winks. Served up by a duo of shocks, this play also has the merit of questioning our own position in relation to the evolution of humanity." Journal L'Alsace, March 2016 "An ode to scientific reflection" Le Monde, November 2016
