Les Négresses Vertes have a curious history, This independent acoustic rock band, born in Paris in 1987, owes as much to chanson réaliste as to Mediterranean music. With their first album, "Mlah", in 1988, they crossed borders and entered the English charts with their remixes in 1989. 3 albums followed, "Famille Nombreuse" in 1991, "Zigzague" in 1995 and "Trabendo" in 1999.
