After robbing a bank disguised as a stork, Jacques is ready to do anything to escape the police. He could have hidden in the woods, fled to another country or changed his hairstyle, but he found something better: a priest's habit! Fearful of losing his feathers, he finds himself trapped in a presbytery where zany characters mistake him for the village's new priest. Misunderstandings, misunderstandings and absurd situations ensue in this wacky comedy where imposture reaches new heights! The plot twists and turns as the gendarmes are determined to catch LA CIGOGNE.
