For a tour of Alsace, the Murmurations choir, originally from Annecy, will present a program
a program of sacred a cappella music spanning the centuries.
This program weaves an invisible thread between souls and eras, where the ancient breath
with contemporary resonance. In the intimacy of polyphony, voices mingle
like swarms of whispering stars.
Founded in 2023 by choral conductor Blanche Latour, the ensemble was commissioned
by the Festival de Brou, and brings together demanding amateur singers. In
2026, it now brings together 24 voices whose harmony evokes clouds of starlings
waving in the twilight.
Conductor Blanche Latour, an experienced musician trained in organ, musicology and pedagogy
and pedagogy, guides the choir in its quest for precision and beauty of sound.
