The program:
- Welcome and introduction. Participants will receive pruning shears (grape-picking baskets are included in the price of the experience; each winemaker is responsible for purchasing the baskets).
- The winemaker will guide participants through a vineyard plot for a 1- to 2-hour introduction to grape harvesting
- Return to the winery to learn about the process of turning grapes into wine
- Wine tasting
- Presentation of a “Vendangeur d’un jour®” certificate by the winemaker to each participant
Important information regarding the “Vendangeur d’un jour” activity
It is important to note when making a reservation that the “Grape Picker for a Day” experience is subject to weather conditions and the ripening progress of the grapes.
The activity may be canceled if the winemaker determines that conditions are not suitable for harvesting. In such cases, the winemaker may offer an alternative activity, such as a guided tour with explanations and a ripeness check.
Customers must wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions (old clothes, as grapes can stain them; hiking shoes or boots, etc.).
